This Matcha Granola recipe is not only delicious but healthy. It's packed with healthy nuts (almonds, walnuts and pecans are what we typically use), antioxidant rich Cacao, plus the calm, sustained energy from L-Theanine packed matcha, nutrient dense chia and flax seeds, all sweetened with honey.
The recipe is versitile and can easily be modified how you want to fit your tastes or to fit what you have available in your kitchen. Don't have pecans? No problem! Substitute in any of your favorite nuts. The honey can be swapped with maple syrup which will add a nice subtle maple flavor. Coconut oil or olive oil both work great as the oil added to the recipe. Another thing we've played with in our kitchen with this recipe is adding some dried fruits to the granola; cranberries seem to work the best for our taste.
