Our Story:

We were looking for a quick and easy premixed matcha latte to replace coffee and jump start our mornings.  We found that all of the pre-mixed products on the market were packed with sugar or sugar substitutes. That gave us the idea to launch the Be Tea Company. In our minds, a bunch of refined sugar is not something you should start your day with. 

We set out to create a matcha latte that uses high quality organic Japanese matcha. As we experimented with different cultivars and blends, found that coconut milk combines perfectly with the matcha flavor without drowning out the complexities. 

Our matcha blend is made up of several well-regarded matcha cultivars including Yabukita, Oku Midori and San Midori. All from Shizuoka and Kagoshima, Japan.

Our matcha is grown exclusively on organic, non-GMO Japanese tea farms. Shaded and harvested in spring, this matcha is set apart from lower quality matcha you get in most latte blends.

With all these ingredients coming from sustainable, non-GMO farms we wanted to maintain that theme of sustainability through our lattes entire lifecycle by packing in post consumer recycled bags. We can proudly offer a product that is both good for the earth and good for our bodies.
