Craving that cake-like texture but don't want all the sugar that comes with cake? This once viral baked oats recipe has you covered. We've put our own spin on this recipe adding matcha (of course) and making them gluten-free.Ā
Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons matcha
- Pinch of salt

Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and coat aĀ ramekinĀ in butter or oil.
Step 2:
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for about 1 minute until the mixture is smooth.
Step 3:
Transfer the blend from the blender into your greased or buttered ramekin.
Step 4:
Bake for 35-45 minutes until lightly browned on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 5:
Let cool for about 10 minutes then enjoy.
